Our History

Chirk Car Boot Sale - A Tradition of Bargains & History in North Wales

For over 26 years, the Chirk Car Boot Sale at Chirk Airfield has evolved into one of the most attended in North Wales, Cheshire, Shropshire, and the Wirral, attracting thousands each Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from March to November.

Visitors find bargains from farm tools to antiques, continuing Chirk's market tradition since Saxon times. Don't miss our museum featuring the RMS Lusitania, RMS Titanic stories, vintage aircraft from the 1930s and '50s, and classic cars from the 1960s.
